A new listing just came on the market in Hiwan! It’s a very well thought through, implemented and designed remodel in the heart of Hiwan.
I liked just about everything about this house, from the high end appliances, flooring and kitchen countertops to the extensive and seemingly very well built composite decks—this home has been done right!
The timing for this home to test the extreme upper limits of price per square foot of total space is perfect. Previously homes over $250/SF total boasted Upper Bear Creek Frontage or in-your-face Mount Evans Views. At a stratospheric $260/SF total this home has neither of those components nor is it on the fairway of the Golf Club or in the Island. This one is simply well done in a reasonable location.
It is a comprehensive remodel of a decent floor plan. Comprehensive in the sense that virtually every detail has been updated with high end finishes. Everything except two areas that I found: the siding is the vintage T1-11 style siding as opposed to what I would expect at this price per foot range: a combination of stucco and stone; and the bathroom counter tops are still Corian or some other solid hard surface-beige(ish) instead of the almost ubiquitous, in this price range, granite.
I can go on and on about the newness everywhere in this house but I won’t because the fact is it’s the only house in Hiwan for sale between $500,000 and $875,000, its nice and it will sell fast!
In today’s track meet great homes are breaking records with both price per foot and speed from initial marketing day to contract. It’s more important than ever to have a plan whether buying or selling in Hiwan.
